NORMAL Mode - This is the standard mode of operation for the Rin unit. She performs at an optimum level, and will generally keep to herself to write songs, or occasionally may sing on her own, or to you, without having to be commanded. She will also perform any other programmed tasks without being asked, and will follow any given orders without complaint.

LOLI Mode - This mode is automatically activated when something has frightened, or caused sudden pain to your Rin unit. She will isolate herself and cry until she is consoled, or comforted either by her owner, or another VOCALOID unit, you may have. Do not expose your LOLI Mode Rin unit to a Len unit, as she will blame him for being in this condition, and attack him.

TEEN Mode - Unit will become bratty, and refuse to perform any given command in this state. She will frequently swear, break things, and purposely mess up on any order given [examples include, burning your food, or otherwise doing something to make it wrong, ignoring your children, should you have her babysit, not feeding your pets, scratching your car...etc]

YANDERE/YANGIRE Mode - Something has irritated, or otherwise angered your Rin unit. Perhaps you have neglected to give her snacks, or feed her. You may have somehow treated her as a mere machine, instead of an equal, or otherwise done something she doesn't like. Your Rin unit will become uncontrollably violent, and may do one or more of the following things: Steal your money and/or credit cards, to shop for non-refundable objects for herself, wreck anything in sight with a Road Roller, destroy your household objects, attack children or pets, and may speciifically focus her rage on her current owner/operator. Be advised as sometimes when your Rin unit disengages this mode, she may become ill, though the severity will depend on how long/intense it was. Please note, that your Rin unit may also run out of energy for one or more days.

HIBERNATE Mode - Your Rin unit, has, for whatever reason, become low on energy and needs to recharge. For your convienience, it appears to be sleeping! The Rin unit will make a soft snoring sound, as opposed to an annoying computerized whirr, as of our last update. You can help her charge faster by plugging her USB cable [located convieniently in a compartment in her headphones] into your computer.

Other things to note:

-Rin's startup button is behind her left ear.
-You can add instructions vocally, or by pressing a button located behind her right ear, and speaking directly into her microphone, though she may get upset about this, as she doesn't like to share her headphones.
-Rin comes with a nearly unlimited wardrobe. To change her, simply ask her to show you her inventory, and select an outfit. Her current clothes will disappear and be replaced by the selected outfit.
-Rin is a very shy and sweet unit normally, given proper treatment, she will willingly do as ordered, and lavish her affection on her owner/operator.
-Rin will wear sexy clothing if ordered to. However, thongs may confuse, or bother her a little, initially.
-Rin has no artistic ability aside from singing. Asking her to draw, paint or otherwise create pictures, may only result in your confusion, however, it's best to compliment her, so she doesn't get discouraged.
-Rin is very Human-like. She has full ability to feel, and has emotions, a heart beat, the ability to breathe, and blink, thinking, she uses the bathroom, and cries, and produces saliva, and other bodily fluids. Her skin is very soft and smooth, and all body parts are accurate to life, and in full working order. The only thing they won't do is grow. it should also be noted that all vital organs are mechanical, and computer based.
-Rin can be programmed the same way you recharge her, plug the USB cable in her headphones into the computer, drag and drop files, videos, songs, or other instructions, or programs into her system, and she can perform them.
-Rin is capable of projecting screens.
-Rin has the full arsenal of normal computer games built in. Her favorite is solitaire
-Rin can watch videos or look things up inside her left eye.
-Her primary search engine is Google.

Customization:
The traditional Rin Kagamine unit has seafoam blue eyes, and short length, medium blonde hair, however, can be customised to have the following changes made:

Hair may be changed to any shade between Bright Yellow, to Honey Blonde
Length can be extended to her thighs.
Eye Color may be changed to any shade between Ocean Blue and Emerald Green.

Len Kagamine unit sold seperately.
